Description

Crispy and delicious churros made in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cinnamon sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add flour and stir until a dough forms.
  4. Mix in vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
  5. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  6. Pipe churro shapes onto parchment paper.
  7. Place churros in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Remove and coat with cinnamon sugar.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the dough.
  • Serve with chocolate sauce for dipping.
