- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1 cup chocolate frosting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, milk, and vanilla to the butter mixture. Mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Fold in the shredded coconut and chopped almonds.
- Fill cupcake liners with batter and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Allow cupcakes to cool before frosting with chocolate frosting.
Notes
- Store cupcakes in an airtight container.
- You can use store-bought frosting if preferred.
- Top with additional almonds or coconut for decoration.
