Delicious banana cake topped with whipped cream.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the bananas in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in mashed bananas.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool the cake before frosting.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream on top of the cooled cake.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Use overripe bananas for more flavor.
