Description

Delicious Biscoff cake topped with creamy cookie butter frosting.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Biscoff cookie butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in milk and vanilla.
  7. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
  8. Divide batter between the prepared pans.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cakes cool for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  11. For frosting, beat cookie butter, powdered sugar, and heavy cream until smooth.
  12. Spread frosting on top of one cake layer, place the second layer on top, and frost the top and sides.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Can be topped with crushed Biscoff cookies for extra flavor.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
