Ingredients

- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup whiskey or rum
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
- Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Add whiskey and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours until firm.
- Use a melon baller or spoon to scoop out small amounts and roll into balls.
- Dust with cocoa powder and place on a baking sheet.
- Chill again for 30 minutes before serving.

- Store truffles in the refrigerator.
- Use different spirits for variety.
- Make them a day ahead for best flavor.
