Description
A comforting beverage made with spiced tea and steamed milk.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups water
- 2 black tea bags
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 whole cloves
- 4 green cardamom pods
- 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Boil water in a saucepan.
- Add tea bags, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and ginger.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in sugar.
- Strain the tea into a cup.
- In another saucepan, heat milk until steaming.
- Froth the milk if desired.
- Pour frothed milk over the tea.
- Serve hot.

- Adjust sweetness to your taste.
- Use non-dairy milk for a vegan option.
- Store leftover tea in the fridge for up to 3 days.
