Description

Delicious and rich chocolate truffles infused with cherry and almond flavors.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup cherry preserves
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed almonds

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Mix in cherry preserves and almond extract until well combined.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for about 1 hour until firm.
  5. Use a small scoop to form balls from the mixture.
  6. Roll each ball in crushed almonds to coat.
  7. Place truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate until ready to serve.
