Delicious and rich chocolate truffles infused with cherry and almond flavors.
Ingredients

- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup cherry preserves
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup crushed almonds
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Mix in cherry preserves and almond extract until well combined.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about 1 hour until firm.
- Use a small scoop to form balls from the mixture.
- Roll each ball in crushed almonds to coat.
- Place truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Allow truffles to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for best texture.
