Chocolate Coconut Macaroons are sweet and chewy treats made from shredded coconut and dipped in chocolate.
Ingredients

- 3 cups shredded coconut
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces dark chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Form small mounds of the mixture on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool completely.
- Dip the bottoms of each macaroon in melted chocolate.
- Place on wax paper to set.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Use unsweetened coconut for a less sweet version.
- Try adding almond extract for variation.
