Description

A delicious cookie that combines the crunch of biscotti with a rich chocolate dip.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Shape dough into a log and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes, then cool for 10 minutes.
  8. Slice log into biscotti shapes.
  9. Return to oven and bake for another 15 minutes.
  10. Melt chocolate chips and dip one end of each biscotti.
