Ingredients

- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, mix milk, sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
- Pour into serving dishes and chill for at least 2 hours.
- Serve chilled.
Notes
- This pudding can be topped with whipped cream.
- Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Use dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
