Description

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set.
  8. Let cool completely.
  9. For the filling, beat together powdered sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  10. Spread filling on the flat side of one cookie and top with another cookie.
