Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. Add milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
  5. Fill cupcake liners halfway with batter. Add a teaspoon of the filling.
  6. Top with more batter until liners are 3/4 full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cupcakes cool before frosting.
  9. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk for frosting.
  10. Frost cupcakes and serve.
