Description

Delicious dark chocolate truffles with a hint of sea salt.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting
  • Sea salt, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it simmers.
  2. Remove from heat and add chopped dark chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth.
  3. Add vanilla extract and sea salt, mixing well.
  4. Refrigerate mixture for 2 hours, or until firm.
  5. Use a scoop to form small balls of the chocolate mixture.
  6. Roll each ball in cocoa powder.
  7. Sprinkle sea salt on top of each truffle.
  8. Chill for another 30 minutes before serving.

  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge.
  • Allow truffles to come to room temperature before serving for better flavor.
