A moist cake infused with the flavors of Earl Grey tea.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture alternately with milk.
- Stir in the Earl Grey tea leaves.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For stronger flavor, steep tea leaves in the milk before adding.
- Can be served with lemon glaze for added sweetness.
