Description

Rich chocolate truffles infused with eggnog flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup eggnog
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup nutmeg, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Add eggnog and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  3. Chill the mixture for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  4. Form small balls from the mixture and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Chill the balls for another 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
  7. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, then place back on the baking sheet.
  8. Dust with nutmeg before the chocolate sets.

Notes

  • Store truffles in the refrigerator.
  • Use white chocolate for a different flavor.
  • Adjust eggnog quantity for stronger flavor.
