Description
Delicious truffles coated in salted caramel.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it simmers.
- Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth.
- Mix in the salted caramel sauce and sea salt.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours until firm.
- Use a melon baller or spoon to scoop out truffles and roll them into balls.
- Roll each truffle in cocoa powder to coat.
- Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes
- For a sweeter taste, use milk chocolate instead of dark.
- Truffles can be stored in an airtight container for up to one week.
