- 1 cup hazelnuts, toasted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3 large eggs

- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a cake pan.
- Blend hazelnuts and sugar until finely ground.
- In a bowl, cream butter and hazelnut mixture.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; mix into batter.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before frosting.
- For frosting, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream over the cooled cake.
