Description

A refreshing iced tea made with hibiscus flowers for detoxification.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
  • 8 cups water
  • 1/2 cup honey or agave syrup
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil 8 cups of water in a pot.
  2. Add dried hibiscus flowers to the boiling water.
  3. Remove from heat and steep for 15 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea to remove the flowers.
  5. Add honey or agave syrup while the tea is still warm.
  6. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
  7. Refrigerate until chilled.
  8. Serve over ice with lemon slices and mint leaves.
