Description

Mango sorbet is a refreshing frozen dessert made from ripe mangoes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat until sugar dissolves. Let cool.
  2. Puree diced mangoes in a blender.
  3. Add lime juice and cooled sugar syrup to the mango puree. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for 4 hours, stirring every hour.
  5. Once frozen, scoop and serve in bowls.
