Delicious chocolate truffles infused with mulled wine flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup mulled wine
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just simmering.
  2. Add the chopped chocolate to the cream and let sit for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  4. Add the mulled wine, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix well.
  5. Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours, until firm.
  6. Using your hands, scoop and roll the mixture into small balls.
  7. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder to coat.
  8. Place truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate until ready to serve.
