Delicious chocolate truffles infused with mulled wine flavors.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup mulled wine
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just simmering.
- Add the chopped chocolate to the cream and let sit for 2 minutes.
- Stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Add the mulled wine, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix well.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours, until firm.
- Using your hands, scoop and roll the mixture into small balls.
- Roll each truffle in cocoa powder to coat.
- Place truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- Use a good quality dark chocolate for best flavor.
- Adjust spices to your taste.
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge.
