Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Using your hands, form small balls from the mixture and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate the macaroons for at least 1 hour to set.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- For a chocolate variation, dip the macaroons in melted chocolate.
