Description

A simple dessert that combines coffee and cream layers.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 12 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.
  4. Dip ladyfingers in coffee and layer them in cups.
  5. Add a layer of mascarpone mixture on top of ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat layers until cups are full.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  8. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

  • Use strong coffee for best flavor.
