Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix peaches with 1/2 cup sugar and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk.
  5. Pour the batter over melted butter without stirring.
  6. Add peaches on top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
