Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a round cake pan, melt butter and mix with brown sugar.
  3. Arrange pineapple slices and cherries in the pan.
  4. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  5. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  6. Pour the batter over the pineapple.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a plate.
