Delicious raspberry almond shortbread bars with a buttery crust and fruity filling.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar.
- Add flour and salt, mix until combined.
- Press mixture into the bottom of a greased 8-inch square pan.
- Spread raspberry jam over the crust.
- Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can substitute other fruit jams.
- For a nuttier flavor, toast the almonds before using.
