Description
Raspberry sorbet is a refreshing frozen dessert made from pureed raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture boils.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Puree the raspberries in a blender until smooth.
- Strain the raspberry puree to remove seeds.
- Mix the raspberry puree with the cooled sugar mixture and lemon juice.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe raspberries for the best flavor.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.
