Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Spread half of the dough into a greased baking pan.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the dough.
  8. Top with remaining dough and sprinkle sea salt flakes.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before cutting into bars.
