Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, combining until just blended.
  7. Fold in the salted caramel sauce.
  8. Fill cupcake liners about 2/3 full with batter.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cupcakes cool completely.
  11. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  12. Frost cooled cupcakes with whipped cream and drizzle with additional caramel sauce.
