Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
  3. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
  6. Spread dough in a greased baking pan.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  8. Let cool completely.
  9. For frosting, beat powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  10. Spread frosting over cooled bars.
