Description

Delicious vanilla bean cupcakes topped with creamy buttercream frosting.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
  3. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Stir in vanilla bean paste.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  8. Mix until just combined.
  9. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter.
  10. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cool completely before frosting.
