Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Melt dark chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
  2. In a bowl, mash the ripe avocado until smooth.
  3. Add melted chocolate, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the mashed avocado and mix well.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Once chilled, scoop out small portions and roll into balls.
  6. Roll each ball in cocoa powder to coat.
  7. Refrigerate truffles until firm.
